ORIGINAL marriage certificate? or copy?

DUH..we leave in two days and this just came up..which do I need to bring? I used to keep my maiden name on my drivers lic. with my married name, but they won't let me do it anymore, so I may actually need the cert. this time.

Marriage certificate

My wife and I just got married a couple of months ago, and she kept her maiden name...wasn't any problem travelling together...only thing was we had to fill out separate immigration forms on the flight over since we didn't have the same last names...don't worry yourself...just

GET PACKING!!! Have a GREAT time

nope...You don't need the original.

You can, if you'd like - to get a certified copy of the marriage license at your Court House if you want to go all out...But you don't need it. Just a nice copy will do fine...

In fact you could and should make copies of your birth certificates and passports which you can use in case of emergencies...You can get passport numbers, etc that way. Keep them stowed and use the certified copies at the airport and customs, etc...

Now that I think of it...the ONLY time a marriage license was EVER even brought up was by the agent at the airline who said NEXT time it mught not be a bad idea...but as long as the numbers and dates match up on the ID - you'll be fine...

Enjoy and don't worry!!!!
