Taxi from Airport
Please don't anyone jump down my throat for asking. I know this subject has been covered, but I still can't find an answer.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I'll be in PDC next week. I personally don't enjoy the airport van shuttle service. Basically I don't like to stops along the way. I just want to get to my hotel ASAP. That being said, even though I've got a prepaid shuttle service ticket, I want to take a cab. Should I go the kiosks in the airport to arrange a taxi, or should I go outside and try to get a better price. Is it still $58 for a taxi or can I get a better deal outside? I'm grateful for any advice. |

Come on bro, you skip on the prepiad shuttle for convenience and want to worry about a few bucks less on the cab ... take the first one you see when you exit the terminal and then spend your money senore ... spend your money

I don't like the shuttle services either. If you're going to spend $58 on a taxi why not hire private transport for about $2 more. They are there waiting for you with a sign with your name on it and before you know it you're at your hotel. No fuss, no worries. They will even stop to pick you up a beer if you want. This site offers private transfers as well as a few others. I've used Cancun Valet in the past since it wasn't offered here and was very pleased with the service. Many others have used the service here and were also pleased.
