Yes- we went to a presentation about the cave in the Yucatan a couple of months ago. They are very very old. In the last I-dunno-how-many millions of years, the caves here have been dry three times. Right now they are wet for the most part... just waiting on the next environmental change, I guess. Maybe they'll be dry again after this whole global warming thing does it's do.
