Any Michigan people out there.

Are there any Michiganders out there. We are going, a group of six, on the 22nd of January. It is snowing and Au Gres Bay on Lake Huron is freezing over,

I believe you are getting hammered with the snow tonight. This is one of the times I bless being on the East side. This Web Site is giving me and my wife a lot of info on the Playa. Have a good time.

I grew up in Ann Arbor, and after many now detours, now live outside of Jackson. But as of friday, I'll be drinking silly beverages on the beach.

Hi Rick;
We're close, Bay City. Going to Playa March 7th. Four others coming with us. This will be our third time to Playa. 11th trip to Mexico.
No snow yet tonight. Suppose to get 5-8 inches.

Hey, nice to hear from you. Lived in Saginaw for 37 years. Only been here for three. Love it. Planning on having a good time in Playa. Been to Cancun four times over the last seven years. Should be a welcome change. If you have any advice please let me know.

Rick

Ann Arborite

Hello to all my fellow Michiganders! Pretty much lifelong Ann Arborites here with a few detours hither and thither but always seem to return. I have always believed that Ann Arbor, or Michigan for that matter, is a great place to live as long as you can vacation somewhere warm at least twice a year.

We are really getting socked with the snow today. My wife hopes it will be a snow day, she is a teacher, along with thousands of students I am sure.

It will be interseting to see how many of our kind pop into this thread. However I don't think we can outnumber the Texas contingent, there seems to be a plethora of them folk 'round these here parts.

Rochester Hills...here

Hello Michigander's (and Ontario friends, of course). We are heading down Jan 29. I, too, (teacher) am hoping for a snow day tomorrow, but it's not looking good right now on our side of town

Love Ann Arbor bbA2. My sister lives there and it's like our second home.

Which leads me to bring up (wince) that heartbreaking Rosebowl loss
Oh well, it was a valiant effort anyway.

Anybody else going end 'o January? We are staying at the Iberostar Quetzal.
Happy travels, all.

Waving Hi from Saginaw! Hey Guys! We're heading down for some sun on Feb. 8--can't wait! I have the beach cam bookmarked here at work, so I can pop onto the beach after I look out the window!

Rick and I are from Plymouth and Livonia, met during our years in Ann Arbor attending U of M, detoured for 8 years to Madison, WI then Denver, and have lived in Jackson for the last 12 years. We are lucky enough to live on a lake which makes summers unbeatable here, but this time of year Mexico sounds wonderful.

Our kids got a snow day today, and Rick had the day off so we went X-C skiing together this morning. And now we're counting down the days until we hit the beach Feb. 28.
