Recommemded PDC map?

The only posts I can find regarding maps are from 2002. Any more current recommendations on a map? Can't find anything on the general playa.info site either, unless it is buried somewhere that I am not looking. I'd recommend an additional main page tab for "Maps" - I'm sure it would get lots of use. Thanks.

Like Roni said, cancunmap.com for Mapchick's dandy products. Undisputed best maps of the area. Full of useful and timely information.

Ditto on the Mapchicks maps. They're the best around.

Map Chicks Maps Can't Be Beat ...

I 3rd AND 4th the others ... Map Chick IS the way to go. Order them from her WEB site. If you don't like them after you get them, she'll give you your money back.

Last year we got a new set of maps. We were going to Playa just before her 2004 maps came out, so we got the 2003 model. When the 2004 came out, she sent us those too ... for free. They arrived about a week before we left. The nicest part ... we never asked for her to send the 2004's. She just sent them on her own. Now that's service. If I could just get them to take me on their next mapping expedition!

There are many, many, MANY things in those maps you'd never know about anyother way. We found possibly the best pizza shop in Mexico (just outside of Playa). A spectacular cenote in the middle of nowhere, complete with it's own marijuanna drying kiln (no kidding, but a little scary to get too). Ice cream just like back home (no -- not 235 dollar Haagan Daaz cones by the pier). Driving directions that even I could follow. And the list goes on ...

Does Mapchick offer FedEx delivery? If so, I'd definitely consider it. Those maps are THE maps to have on hand!!!

From MapChicks website:

What if I leave
in a couple of days?
Shipping by priority mail and overnight shipping is available in most cases.
Priority mail for U.S. orders, please
add $4 per order (not per map).
Delivery is typically 2 to 3 days.
Priority mail for Canadian orders,
please add $4U.S. per order (not per map). Delivery is typically 4 to 6 days.
Priority mail for International orders,
please add $5U.S. per order (not per map). Delivery is typically 4 to 6 days.

Hey Karen ....

NICE SNOW CAT! Did you make that, or just find the picture.

It looks exactly like my youngest abyssinian (of 3) Tujen except that he is a little smaller ... and he is not white ... and his whiskers are straighter ... and his ears are much bigger ... and he is a bit slimmer with a smaller head ... but otherwise a dead ringer!

I believe Playa Maya was mentioned as having some. PM Steve (Ryberg is his user name here) to see if he has some on hand.

For those of you that think it is too late to get the map you need,
do a search for
Alma Libre
and read the most obvious thread.
