Last Saturday, the atmosphere outside and inside the Carrier Dome was electric; the tailgate parties were effusive; the streets were jammed with people having a great time before the Penn State game. Then the game started.

So Boston College is out because they saw the Big East for what it was, a sinking ship. Was it OK for Miami and Virginia Tech to bail out also??
