Playa del Carmen Beach O-LIMP-XX - Announcement!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!

It's with sincere regret that I must announce the Scavenger Hunt portion of the PdCBO must be cancelled. Due to some unforseen circumstances, the three lovely looney ladies who had agreed to conduct this portion of the programme find that they are unable to continue with this undertaking. (To tell the truth, I suspect that they were disqualified from having any kind of participation in the games after being caught in one of the sweeps of random alcohol testing that the International Olympic Committee conducted at the recent Holidaze Event in Playa. Mind you, I have no proof...just a suspicion.) With their unfortunate withdrawal, unless some other person or persons, are willing to organize a Scavenger Hunt for Monday, March 7, this part of the games is toast. The day 2 activities - The Non-Athletic Events, and Trivia Challenge - will still take place as originally planned. A similar announcement will be made on the initial PdCBO entry. Sorry to hear about the scavenger hunt. We arrive that afternoon. I guess we'll hit the beach for the afternoon then meet some friends that are staying at Playacar for dinner. Maybe do a Bumper hunt later at night.

David, David, David, tsk-tsk-tsk, you weren't paying attention. You don't hunt Bumpers...you bait 'em. Just pull the cork on a jug of Don Julio, and you'll have one sniffing around in a jiffy. Either that, or let him hear your lovely Tammy is in town, and you'll have to beat him away with a stout stick.
