Hey. This is a great post and I'm glad to see it active again just before I head down there (only 5 more sleeps) BUT, it would be nice if everyone supplied a brief description about the drink. For example, is it a sweet drink, blended, on the rocks, has tequila, rum etc in it, mixed with coconut etc. Not necessarily a complete bartenders course on how it is made, just some small description. I hope that's not asking too much Cheers to all !!

Hands down the absolute best margarita in all of Playa is made at Posada Freud. I won't drink a margarita anywhere else in Playa... and have been known to leave other bars to go to Posada Freud to get a margarita para llevar and then return to the bar I just left. They're that good. When you order, don't just order a margarita, make sure to ask for a "margarita especial"... that's the key. However, please use caution when drinking these babies... if you have more than 3 of them you may have difficulty crawling back to your hotel room... as they are like 99% alcohol by volume yet you wouldn't know it from the taste.

OH!!!!!!!!! I have to many days to go. Its a cold rainy night in the PNW. I want to be on my way. Yes, I would second the Mango margarita, we had one in a bar at the mall on the south side(it had bean bags outside) nice place for the walk home. When someone says they are on there way you relize that Margarita ville(or villa?) truly is a state of mind. Also depends on the time of day...nothing beats a shot and a lime when you need to catch up
