wraps
This is only my third winter here, so I'm not an expert, but temps in April have tended to be pretty hot even in the evening. I think using any wrap like a pareo would work fine - I wouldn't bother with a jacket.

I have been in April before and I did not find the need for a jacket. Since most places are open air, the temp has been fine. I am not a cold natured person at all, so some other people may have a different opinion. If you get chilled, do a tequila shot and get up and dance. LOL!!

My favorite source for weather in Playa is the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional de la Comisión Nacional del Agua web site. It provides excellent weather info for all of Mexico. It's in Spanish only, however, it's very easy to use and understand. Another source of weather info for Mexico is the Centro Meteorológico page on the Comisión Federal de Electricidad web site. Though, IMHO, it's not as good as the previous mentioned site. Again in Spanish only, but pretty easy to use and understand. |

not too concerned........but don't want to be miserable if i get too much sun, will just make sure i have my sarong with me.....
april here in houston can be iffy, we camped before in late april and it hit 27........really, that was the worst camping trip of my life......we had to start a fire just to melt the left over coffee.........it was crazy.......... i'm just gonna play it by ear, and hope for the best.......besides, i'm sure my groom will have no problem keeping me warm.......should the need arise............. |
