Quinto del Sol Hotel

I am going to be staying at Quinto del Sol on 12 and 5th ave - anyone ever stay there and has any feedback - good or bad. Any advise as to where the closest and best beach is as well.

Didn't stay there but 1 block north & east. You will walk 1 block east & perhaps 2 north to the large road leading to Mamitas Beach Club to your left at beach, and Tukan beach club on the right. Mamitas has good food,drinks etc,but non-stop euro-techno music

. El Tukan has good drinks,never tried food,good rest-room facilities,laid back mexican music

.Hotel looks fine,I got a brochure while there,cool rooftop jacuzzi,great location. Try the breakfast buffet 1 block down 5th ,La Passion. Really Good.
