Yeah, I'm with you on that. There are some that just need a side-to-side listening. But when trying to make a mix for poolside parties, etc., that genius thing is pretty neat. It also keeps my wife happy as it groups genres together and relieves her of my propensity for following Jackson Browne's "Fountain of Sorrow" with Iggy and The Stooges' "Gimme Some Skin."
I'm kinda twisted that way.
The best thing about digital music is the ability to make a mix in a half hour. Remember doing it with LPs and tapes? Whole day shot. It was fun, though.
