I should have said that I prefer the smaller ships, and I am not a 'shopper'...I like to explore my surroundings
If those folks on the big ships want to go into the city and buy stuff, they can. You will find me touring the rest of the island/place either in a cab, on a ship tour, or I have booked my own tour. I am more interested in learning about the traditional customs, history, food and culture of the people more so than the touristy stuff that one can see right away when one disenbarks.
