malaria pills
Hi! I'm going to Playa del Carmen with my boyfriend in three weeks, staying at one of the resorts. We went to a travel doctor, who said there are some debates about malaria if you visit the ruins at Tulum. We bought the malaria pills, but since then have heard about and read that there can be some nasty side effects. I've also read they're not necessary. Has anyone taken them/not taken them and could share their opinion of whether they are necessary.
