Calling on gurus for hotel advice!
Good morning..I was hoping that someone could offer some advice on some hotel options. After much searching it looks like Don Emilione and Hotel Colibri both have availability March 5 - 12. I'd really prefer to stay on the beach..I've read good things about Don Emilione (which I know exactly where it is) but not alot about Colibri as of late.
Looked at Playa Maya, Maya Bric, Posada Freud, Alhambra, El Faro etc etc.. I just need very basic accomodations to put my head down. Anyone have any other suggestions I could check into? Thanks so much, Dodge |

Thanks for the addition...!! Finding a place for the week can most likely be done - but changing rooms at the same facility - or changing facilities might have to be done... |

the colibri
It's hard to beat the Colibri Great location,Great staff very clean, and extremely friendly. Plus I heard there bar and restaurant are open again. Usually good room prices. There will be 7 of us staying there in April, and it will be our 4th straight year. With never a problem and always a great time. I's my number one choice!!!!!

hotel
Try Hotel Paradise. Stayed there easter week of 2004 when I booked last minute and couldn't find anything. I really liked the hotel, basic and clean, nothing fancy, well located and a nice pool area. We paid $60 a night. Not ON the beach, but just a few blocks away. www.hotel-paradise.com
