I just snorkeled there last week for the first time in my 5 years here! (shame on me!
) I saw two huge turtles and one medium-sized one without much effort at all. However, in Akumal Bay itself, I didn't see many fish, but I didn't swim in areas where there was much coral for them to hang out.
