do any of the AI's have a good nightlife?

just wondering, none of the reviews over at TPadvisor never seem to state that there is much of a nightlife unless you get out of the hotel at night and go to playa.....am I correct on this........I'm not talking wet t-shirt contests...although Im not opposed to this, but more like a good band playing in a bar with people drinking having a good time....

I've scoured ASP, El dorado, lindo, and others.....am I missing something? thanks...

Other than the shows (which sometimes might not be considered "good"), I would say I have never found great nightlife at any AI I have ever stayed at...always had to go into town to experience that. On the other hand, drinks around the pool or swim-up bar can get real fun!

Riu Tequila has a good selection of entertainment...did last year
anyway...
