Finally decided on Palladium
OK it took long enough but we finally made the decision to switch from the RIU Palace (nervous about possible beach crowding) to the Palladium.
It was such a tough decision between Barcelo and Palladium and I did not let myself even LOOK at any other choices for fear of further complicating things. Bottom line was I made my husband pick ! HAHAHAHA. I was really torn by the great Barcelo beach but I then figured... could any beach there really be considered "bad" - I don't think so . So, we will be at the Palladium (Mayan Suite!!!!!) June 16-23 . Thanks everyone for your info and help. |

Enjoy and relax, your decision is made and don't worry now......I am sure you will have a great time. It seems like I spend more and more time agonizing over my resort choice with every holiday we go on!!!

We'll just miss ya. June 2nd through the 9th. I might save some beer for ya. You'll have a great time. Like I said in a previous thread, we liked both resorts for different reasons. We liked the service and food at Riu Palace and the atmosphere and layout of the Palladium. If we had the money, we'd return to the Palace over Palladium. We booked a junior suite hoping to get upgraded to a mayan suite like last year. Have a great trip.
