horsback riding at punta?

when is the best time to go? morning noon or 3pm? I'm going to want to do dinner and see some night life at playa....should I do the 3 pm and spend the rest of the day or is it too hot at 3pm in middle to late May on the horses? thanks..

You'll have a better experience going for a ride early in the morning for two reasons.

The horses will be rested and not tired from earlier rides.
It will be much cooler riding in the morning as opposed to the heat of the midday/afternoon sun.

We went at 10AM during our trip last March. It was just my wife, 2 kids, and myself ... and of course the guide. It was a great time. Very leisurely pace. We have some very nice pictures. The guide was excellent, and he spoke very good English.
