Directions to Magdalena's Grillhouse
This will be my family's first trip to PDC. I've had a couple of people recommend Magdalena's Grillhouse to me, but I can't find it on my Mapchick map

Family dining
We loved La Quinta Passion for buffet breakfast at 5$ pp.Corner of calle26 & 5th Ave. Not a traditional buffet,as they put out 2 juices, sweet rolls, coffee, yogurt, fruit and "something special"in a hot plate such as potato/ham/onion/Peppers in a scramble. Then they take your order for omelets, pancakes, eggs done as you like,& bring it with toast. All for the 5$ U.S.
DiBiggs[a poster here] knows the young couple that run it,newly married and very nice. The best omelets I've ever had,and one of my best friends has a bkfst. place next door to my house and makes them very good, but not any better than there. Tango Taco is another great place...awesome steaks.Had 2 great meals there too. |

They have the most extensive breakfast menu I have ever seen in Mexico. I ater breakfast there 3 times and dinner once last month. I would have eaten breakfast there every day had I known. Dinner I have a rule to eat somewhere different every night on vacation or I would have gone back for that too. I would recommend it to everyone. Softy - I agree about the food at La Quinta Passion. They have a great fajita. They add a hint of habanero that makes it awesome.

Had a superb dinner at Magdalena's last week (see our ongoing trip report), and a great brunch there today. Enormous and varied breakfast menu. 1 large & 1 small OJ, 2 coffees with refills, chirizo omelette/hashbrowns/toast for me, pancakes/sausage/bacon for Mrs.B. We were stuffed. Service was prompt and attentive. Total, with the tip included on the bill - 209 pesos. The pleasant conversation with the charming owners was free.
