Wayy off Topic: Closet TV show Addictions

I have this closet tv show addiction. I'm not much of a tv watcher, but this show has me plugged in. Anyone watching "Carnivale" on HBO, or is it just me? (I must admit, though sometimes I need Cliff Notes to get what's going on...)

THe only show I NEVER MISS is "Numb3rs". Its totally fascinating to me.....Everything boils down to mathmatics and probabilities.

The other show I am sort of addicted to is "House". Its another doctor show, but he's way different that any doctor you've seen.

I dont have cable, but if I did I would have a lot more TV addictions.

Haven't seen Carnivale, but do watch most of the other HBO series: 6 Feet Under, The Sopranos and most recently, Deadwood... so my ears have been branded by more F's and CS's than I ever would have thought possible...

my secret addiction is American Idol

Six Feet Under
Sopranos
Nip Tuck

Sienfeld reruns are still the best TV ever. I sure miss that show. I also miss My So Called Life and Freaks and Geeks.

Carnevale is an awesome show. My son got me addicted. Only 3 more episodes to go.

I am also a Stargate SG-1 addict.

I don't have HBO. I feel so out of the loop.......

But I figure my monthly cable/computer bill is high enough, thank you very much! And without the extra HBO charge, I figure that's $$ I can spend on renting movies from Blockbuster.

I have a few shows that I never miss...ER (since its conception), Survivor, Amazing RAce and Idol (american or canadian). Recently I've quite enjoyed CSI Miami, I really like David Caruso's character. I also think 2 and a half men is one of THE most hilarious shows on TV right now, and love when I remember to sit down and watch that one.

My closet show? Dr. Phil.... I even have John watching once in awhile..ha! I watched him once and was hooked when I heard him say to a woman complaining about being mistreated all the time "People will treat you how you LET them treat you!" I thought that was great, and I now tell my kids that all the time.

I have been a huge NYPD Blue fan.
I watch Apprentice and Boston Legal (my fav show) without fail.
I like Amazing Race and Survivor when I can catch them.

My closet show...I am still addicted to I Love Lucy...probably always will be.

Have watched ER since it's inception. Though it's gotten really bad over the years. I watch it more now out of habit.

Have watched NYPD since it's inception. I've always loved Sipowiz's role.

I love the original CSI. I also like CSI NY and have always been a fan of Gary Sinise. But can't stand CSI Miami... can't stand David Caruso... never have liked him in anything... don't find him attractive and think he's a horrible actor.

Also like the new show Numb3rs. I think it's got potential... besides there's not much else on Friday nights.

Am a HUGE fan of the Amazing Race and watch it ritually. Would love to be on the show someday if I could find the right partner. Actually, I have the right partner... he just refuses to do it with me.

I think my all time favorite TV show has got to be I Love Lucy. And the Carol Burnette Show was great too.

Denisea...maybe the Amazing Race would be a good adventure for you and Squish.

On topic...I used to love to watch Cow & Chicken on the Cartoon Network.

NOW is the time. They are looking for contestants for the next Amazing Race season. If you read the host's book, Phil Keoghan, it surely inspires one to take risks... It's called "No Opportunity Wasted" or "NOW". I'm almost finished reading it and it's great. It's about making a "Life List" or 10 things you want to do or experience before you die. He's quite an adventurer/explorer growing up in Antigua and New Zealand. Fascinating guy. He also has a show on the Discovery Channel called "No Opportunity Wasted" - where contestants are give $3000 and are helped to achieve one of the things they've written on their "Life List". YOU MUST CK IT OUT, Denise! At least read his book...have you heard of it??
