Well we thought that TGIF had the best burger in town along with the best Hot Caramel Sunday and Cold AC...Thought that they had just finished the outdoor patio section of the TGIF when we were there in March...Would much rather see a DQ or a Whataburger then a BK...Would hate to see that creepy King walking around 5th...

Although many locals may go to A Burger King or TGIF, as far as a marketing concept I don't see either one of them doing too well in a place like PDC. Maybe in a place like Can Cun where there are more college kids there, but not PDC.
Just my opinion. |

I didn't even know that this was happening until one day when I started up my truck in the morning, and I started to smell french fries or something like that comming out of my exhaust. I thought that I was having a smell halucination or something, I couldn't figure it out. And I tell you there is nothing that wakes me up in the morning faster then the smell of french fries in the morning. Then one day I saw a special on a news show about how many fueling comanies are switching over to organic diesel. |

I agree TGIF'S is good ate there once with a mexican friend we both enjoyed it, and the waiters were pretty comical. But the best burgers have to come from the street vendors at Juarez and 10th I forget his name but he knew me. Very nice. The burgers on the corner of Juarez and 30th are good to but that guy that usually works there is a jackass. I guess he didn't realize I understood every word he was saying about me to his buddy.

I hate the idea of Rotten Ronnies and BK in PDC. Although I agree, 'to each his own' and all that jazz....it still looks...ugly. Too commercial. Too fake. Too fat-inducing. Too 'modern'. Too American. Too plastic. Walking down gorgeous, natural, beachy, Fifth Avenue and seeing that... just my opinion though, I wouldn't march against it or anything.
