If you have had a bad experience before then fine but you can't label ALL Europeans as the same just like I wouldn't label ALL Americans the same, or Germans the same and so on.

Emmalaw45, I don't think gmacd has a problem with people from other countries- He/she mentioned their last vacation, where there were mostly people from other countries that DIDN'T speak English, making it hard for them to find someone to talk to...THAT was their only issue. Don't take it personally, I don't think they have a problem with Europeans! I can somewhat understand going on vacation and wanting to meet people, then having an experience where no one else spoke the same language, why they might want to make SURE that the next time they went on vacation, that they could meet people that spoke English....I think anyone else would do the same thing. It sounds like his experience was maybe slightly out of the norm, since many times there are a lot of people that speak English. I really think it's just a language barrier thing, it doesn't sound like he's labeling Europeans at all. I would hate to have 2 vacations in a row where it was difficult, if not impossible to meet or communicate with people because of a language barrier!
