?? about deleting or changing photos in My Gallery??

I have a few photos to change out for better ones and would like to delete a few. I keep getting a message saying I do not have permission to do this action. I am logged in and can get to the photo editing page but can not delete a photo. Also can not re-submit a new one in its place. Have sent an email to the administrators but if anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it. I have a nice bunch of photos to upload from our recent trip.

Thanks in advance.

Next I need to figure out how to get a little picture by my posts.

I don't think you can delete pictures in the gallery. I needed to do this once and James had to do it for me (I think).

For a picture by your name, set it up in the avatar section in your user cp. There are also posts about how to do it from others who have asked before.

Thanks Sarah, I may have the Avatar worked out. If you see me and my fish on the left then all is good.

I expected your avatar to have that little black bear from your pics on it

Send a message via Skype™ to denisea
Photos can only be deleted by administrators. If you need to have a photo removed send a pm with the name of the photo(s) to James or me and will have it removed.

please send the actual link to the image, not the name of the image.

Hey james, Denise just took care of it. Thanks for checking in.

I have several photos to upload and they are much less memory intensive than the 1st batch. Also putting them in an order to go with a trip report I will submit very soon.

Thanks,
Dave

you should use compression on your images. straight out of the camera they are much higher resolution than you need for on-screen viewing.

Keeping a batch at full size with no compression (for printing) and then made a duplicate batch for Web. Should work out pretty good.
Thanks

Attaachments

Can you only attach a JPG once? When I try to attach the same photo in another post, I can't browse to the already uploaded picture? Can you clarify this for me?
