My wife and I just got back from The Reef Club. It was our firts time in Mexico (and an all inclusive resort), so of course we were excited about our trip. I will attempt to concentrate on the Reef Club itself and not the flight issue (under another topic). The grounds of the club are beautiful. Extremely well kept. The rooms are below average. The air conditioner is a window unit that sounds like a jet engine. Good luck getting any sleep with it on. The food is average at best. The buffet wears thin very quickly. I did however hear relatively good reviews about Botticello. It is their Italian restaurant above the buffet. The snack bar is OK. They have burgers, hot dogs, pizza, nachos, etc. Try the rotiserrie chicken. It was good. If you can get it. It goes pretty quick. My wife and I ate the dinner buffet our first night and quickly found ourselves eating along 5th ave for the rest of our stay. Try the Blue Lobster. Good food. Good price. If you are walking along 5th, don't eat at the first few restaurants. The further you walk down the block the better the food. The liquor at the Reef club is the cheapest in Mexico. Not the price, the quality. They use the cheapest brands money can buy. I saw most of the bottles they use in a liquor store (Covi) selling for $3.00 a bottle. Also, how can you operate in Mexico and not have Corona?
