A point to note is that on Saturdays a lot of the local workers get very drunk as it's pay day and this tourist was attacked at the weekend. They show women little respect when they are unaccompanied. My wife (who's Mexican) has always been advised to avoid building sites and where the workers drink.

My personal opinion after reading the article in germany and in mexico. I think it was the husband the wife left to go for a walk on the beach at 2 but ended up by the road, something doesn't quite add up with that story. because to go off into the bush that far and get near the road from the beach its a bit of a long shot in the dense bush.

Thanks, Fernanda! Cute new avatar!
With little to no details, it is hard to draw any kind of opinion on the murderer (for me). It does seem like an easy way for a someone to get rid of their spouse and I hope the other Scott Petersons don't get the idea. I am actually impressed that the cops found her body as quickly as they did. There are so many areas of thick trees, swamps, etc. that it seems someone could dispose of a body and it never be found. Wish there was more info. I'm always interested in stuff like this. Cops is my favorite TV show. |

We can surmize what we want...Let's face facts...Uh....there are very few....Until someone comes through with what really happened, I think we just have to take this as something we all want not to encounter...It will happen wherever you go, and we just have to hope it is not something that happens to us. This happens everywhere people, even in a place like PDC.
