Actually, it seems to have been a robbery that went wrong. Of course, it is hard to know what really happened. From what we have heard, she was walking alone on the beach at night, north of the farthest resort, Gala.

I can't belive they only searched intially for an hour for her? That is really shoddy police work.

My guess is that she broke her fingers from defending herself (fairly common stuggling injury), I didn't get the idea she was tourtored, it even sounds as if the murder might have been accidental on the part of the killer or killers?

We were in Playa at the time & we thought of it as one of the safest places in the world to be.
