There are two locations, but I believe the one this refers to is actually the one at 30th Avenue and Calle 6. The other is north of Constituyentes several blocks (don't ask me which street!) on the east side of 30th. Or maybe I'm totally wrong and the post refers to this one, which may actually be on Avenida 30@ Calle 28?

EDIT: Looks like Denise changed the info in her post, but the other is actually at 6th, NOT between 10th and 12th

Sorry Heater, my comment about having to try all of them was intended to Heather, I just didn't check the avatar at the time.

BUT, is your dutyfull labor to bring back a detailed report on all the restaurants mentioned in your list,

Thanks Susie. I've only been to the Calle 28 location so was going on Sol's post for the other location. I've updated El Fogon's locations to reflect the correct info.

Susie,

That is the 30 avenida and calle 6 location that I was trying to recall.

Same for us...Feb '06...I was just sitting here reading posts to get my "Playa fix" and improve my attitude...as the wind is raging itself into a big thunderstorm...

Also, Heater...loved your list...it was like a walk down memory lane! And I also am printing it for reference again next year!

With all the talk about Hummus and chile recipes I started to get hungry, so I went in search of food, boy now I'm really hungry. Does anyone have any new updates to this list?

There are actually two El Fogons. Both are on 30th. El Fogon 2 is directly across from Harmon Hall (shameless plug, if you want to learn English, come see us), while number 1 is on the other side of Constituyentes around 30th or so. It is right before Farmacia Similares and Assis Telas. I prefer the latter.

There is actually 10 Pizza Pazza's(sp) on every street. Seems evrywhere you go there is another one. Maybe a little exageration here, but there is alot of them.

Yes, there are a few other Pizza Pazza locations in addition to the one listed... one is located on the 5th Av between Calle 12 y 14 (just before the dip in 5th Av) and another is located on 10th Av between Calle 8 y 10 if memory serves me correctly.

Speaking of Pizza Pazza, here's a cheaper alternative if you're on the north end - Pizza Renzo, on 5th east side, just south of Calle 26.

Last time I was there, the pizza slices were 10 pesos, vs. PP at 16, and just as good. Great lunch and just a stroll from the north beach clubs once they get back up and running.
