Waiting for Gail's review on the digs- I still kind of like the idea of not having to cross the street after a bout of margarita drinking- and I say that from experience ....Will plan on making some pico de gallo and maybe some guac- and am definitely planning on mixing up a few batches of margaritas! |

I think the Beachway Motel will be cool, going to look at Knotty Pine tomorrow,& check in with Beachway too,and try to get to the Best Western in Seabrook,N.H. 2 miles away but has a petting zoo,& other fun stuff.[100$+per nt.]
So glad you & Jerry can make it & looking forward to meeting you'all.

Response is great, veggies, dip and a cheese tray sound great. Also forgot to ask that those who can please bring a folding/beach chair or two. I plan to get a tent and some tables & chairs,& we have a few picnic tables, and the stainless steel tables from the clam house to serve food on, but looking at 100+ people, including family & son's friends, our co-workers,etc. So chairs will be wellcome. Going to pick up some of the small stacking plastic tables,at least 4 to scatter around among the chairs.
I'm going to get a badminton set to set up behind my house,we'll be in front of it,so we don,t get bopped with a raquet.Probably a couple frisbees too. Any other ideas welcome. My gr.-son hosted a cast party a week ago Fri. for a play he was in at the local theater,he worked hard[me too] and it went well. One of the main characters has acted with Paul Newman,Karl Malden, etc. I was very impressed. Still stagestruck after all these years.lol. Anyway,he enjoys being a host. Went to Knotty Pine today, it is same price as Beach Way and not as well kept up.Clean enough, but just not as nicely kept up.Anne/Caramba don't worry,we'll go stop the traffic for you to cross the street. Will go to the beach tomorrow & check on one there and maybe the Dunes too. Both are within 1 mile. Easy walk or 2$ cab ride.I'm psyched!

Si a great time
I will be sleep deprived. Grand-son told me tonight that his dad said the party is from Fri-Sun.Pig,depending on size, will have to go on sometime Fri. and cook all night to be done by 3:00 P.M. or so on Sat. We will start marinating it by tuesday in pineapple, apple juice & fruits etc.in our cooler.Spray the grass for mosquitos & ticks on Fri.Plan to have plenty of munchies, Flugies' Salsa, bean dip,Mexican dip, cheese tray, veggie tray/w/dip,onion dip, chili con queso, taco salad, and BBQ chix, hot dogs & burgers to tide us over till the "PIG is done".BBQ beans, shrimp salad, and probably potato & pasta salads too. My Dau is making a huge fruit salad we'll put in a watermellon half. The other half the kids can eat.
Whoo hoo...I love a party
