Yeah, Rissa, in addition to living in the heart of Europe (Rome is 2 hours away) I live in a city which is base to several low-cost-air-carriers. I have sworn to take advantage of them as long as they last....
And the flight times for Paris come in handy as I arrive at 8 am and the flight back is at 8:40 pm.My disadvantage is that it takes me more than 20 hours to go to Playa... ![]() |

I'm the same way with Boston, Nick..... There are so many people who have visited Boston and seen stuff that I never have. I don't know my way around in there, and while I went to school there for two years, I took the subway, so I get lost like you wouldn't believe any time I have to drive in!! |

I've been to Nashville a lot, and even hit up the Centennial Sportsplex, but still haven't seen the inside of the Parthenon. I've been on the outside, though. I'm not a huge country fan, so Grand Ole Opry isn't on my list of places to see. |

I admire Anna's impressive list very much, and can't top that, but I've been to:
USA- all over the east coast- New England, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina (many times to the Outer Banks- just love Cape Hatteras), Florida (especially love the keys) New Orleans probably 8 or 9 times, one of my favorite cities, for Jazzfest, New Mexico, Arizona (Tucson at least a dozen times). Then, Mexico- over the AZ border about a dozen times as well, and Puerto Vallarta, Punta de Mita, Mazatlan and- inland a couple of hours to my aunt's little town of Cosala, where by the way I attended the most memorable wedding EVER (my cousin's), other than my own, of course , and PDC a couple of times (with day trips to Cozumel)...Canada- Montreal, Quebec City, all over Nova Scotia Caribbean- Jamaica maybe 9 times- we were married there..., Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. John, Tortola, St. Martin/Maarten, Anguilla- think that's about it. Brian's been with me most of these places- basic difference is I've been out west more often and used to spend lots of time in NYC, and he's been through many more states in his old Grateful Dead touring days ![]() |

Besides many of the states, I have been to Mexico and Australia. We spent one month in Australia while my husband was racing there. Very interesting people. They are all so friendly. We spent a couple weeks in Tasmania which is a very beautiful and rugged place. If you ever get the chance to visit Tassie, you have to visit the beautiful towns of Launceston, Devenport, Hobart and of course down to see the historical site of Port Arthur, which is an old penitentiary. Probably the most relaxing vacation was in Playa though!
