Where have you been before
If one looks at this board too loosely, one would think Playa is all these Peeps know about. However, my guess is that some may have some extensive travel experience.
So what is it? Here is mine as an example. Canada: Québec (of course...), Toronto, Niagara Falls, Prince Edward Island, Halifax USA: All the East Coast including NY and Washington, California (SF, LA, SD), Louisiana (New Orleans). France: Paris, Provence, Alsace Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany (Baden Baden), Netherlands (Amsterdam), United Kingdom (London) Mexico (Riviera Maya) Dominican Republic (Bavaro) Cuba (Cayo Coco, Santa Lucia) In my dreams: Australia, Japan, Belize, Bonaire, Palau, Hawai, British Columbia, French Polynesia, Kenya, New Zeland Guess being a mad scientist helps ![]() Favorite were Akumal (of course), Manhattan, San Franscisco and Cuba. Did not like New Orleans (the heat almost killed me) and the Dominican Republic. Last edited by Entilzha; 04-10-2005 at 01:11 PM.. |

This summer I wanted to go to Prince Edward Island. Bob really wanted to go to western Canda. With the price of gas, I think we will stay close to home and go to northern Wisconsin.
One of my favorite places is the beach on Madeline Island in Lake Superior. On a hot summer day, it's almost like being in Mexico

Not quite as exciting as Entilza but:
Virtually all of the US with the exception of SD, ND & MT Hawaii twice Mexico three times All over Texas but still haven't covered every inch yet. I am working on that though. It takes a long time to get all over this great state. |

In my bathroom, I've got a world map across from the toilet.
Whenever I visit somewhere I've never been, I mark the city with a red sharpie. It's pretty cool, plus it gives my bathroom guests something to do if they've already read The Bathroom Trivia Book or don't feel like reading my gaming magazines. I've also got a 20th century photography book, an art history book, America by John Stewart and The Beatles: Unseen Archives. Not than anyone was really curious to what I've got to read in my throne room, but now you know anyhow. Okay, I had to run to the bathroom to see where I've been.. United States: Seattle. Dallas. Little Rock. New Orleans. Baton Rouge. Jackson (MS and TN). Mobile (AL). Dauphin Island (AL). St. Louis. Henderson (KY). Nashville. Knoxville. Chatanooga. Orlando. Sarasota. Ann Arbor (MI). East Liverpool (OH). Raleigh (SC). Hunington (WV). Simsbury (CT). New York. Outside US: Playa del Carmen. Wherever Niagra Falls is in Canada. Tour of France: Started in Paris and circled the country, ending up in Nice. |

Not sure he'd like knowing it was toilet reading material. On second thought... maybe he would. |
