With everything that's going on at Pueblo SacBe, make sure you get on the ball if you are interested in getting a lot. The construction of some very high-end homes on the east side of the property is sure to help push values up tremendously.

If anyone is interested in buying one or two adjacent properties close to the 'center' of town, Geoff and I have two lots for sale close to the Amphitheater.... each is 1250 meters, one is on the corner and the other right beside it.
We are buying something in downtown Playa and regrettedly need to sell these lots to buy the commercial one.
I have a For Sale sign up which is visible from the 'center' of town, and I am also on the www.pueblosacbe.com website location map. If anyone is interested I can be reached at karenclark007 at yahoo dot com.....

Karen, you may want to consider editing your e-mail address out of your post (using the edit-button at the bottom right of your post) and make it look something like "me at home dot com". Spammers love it when an e-mail address is out for them to get just like that...

What is the story on ownership of property by non-Mexican nationals? What are the restricitons/risks, if any?

you buy it through something called a fideicomiso (it's a fee simple trust)

Thanks. Do you know if the lots can be held for future building/sale or is there a requirement to build within a specified timeframe?

The lots seem pretty reasonable given their location.

There is no time requirement for starting to build. Most owners are waiting for all their ducks to line up in a row first, but there are also several homes under construction now - ranging from smaller palapas to extravagant palaces.
