Just want to throw out a quick "hey" to the rest of the members here.

I've been floating around this board recently and want to commend the owners and membership on putting together an excellent website/message group!

I live in Ontario, Canada (brrrrr) and was thinking about heading to Cancun for a couple of weeks this month. However, after spending some time in this forum, I find myself leaning towards Playa Del carmen...go figure. I had no idea that PDC has so much to offer. And it's bigger than I originally thought too!

I'm currently planning a week in PDC sometime in the next few weeks. With the enormous amout of information availible here, I don't imagine I'll be to difficult.

Thanks for a top notch site! Looking forward to PDC!

Hey Shawn. I was in Mexico for a wedding in Nov 2004, visited Playa for an afternoon and couldn't wait to get back. Two days later I was back again. Left a 5 star resort to wander around 5th Ave. My two daughters and I are heading there in 32 days. Watch it... you'll get hooked and be planning your next trip before you leave the first. I'll be in Ottawa the first week in May and get back in time to pack for Mexico. I hope Ontario will be warmer than here.

I say big THUMBS up to coming straight to playa...i believe you'll enjoy it way more than a holiday in cancun. Great vibe in playa...you'll see!

Hi from another Canadian gal! I was in PDC at the end of January and it was wonderful. My husband and I are hooked and definitely want to return someday and this time stay right in PDC.

You will have a great time. We also visited Cancun one night, because we still enjoy partying, and I still preferred the nightlife in PDC. Dancing at the Blue Parrot with the ocean right next to the dance floor under the stars could not be beaten!! Maybe next time I am there I will get to dance to DJ Nancy's beats!

Have you checked out Nerak's thread about the beads? Even if you don't have your own,you'll probably recognize a lot of Playa peeps wearing them.Have a blast,it's easy to do in Playadise.

Hey, another somewhat new member from the cold white north. Been watching the boards for awhile. I'll be heading down to PDC on May 15 for a week, for a friends wedding. Having never been to Mexico before, I would have to say that this board has been very helpful.
