If you like caramel crepes they were very, very good. Anna Y Jose has some really good ones too If you are in Tulum. We had them a la mode with a sweet white wine or maybe it was pink anyway they just melted on your mouth.

That sounds sooo good...on my list of places to eat next year. I think it is time you write your Tstar's Dining Guide...with words and pics

We broke in this trip to Playa with a trip to Capt. Bob and Son's...

29.99 for Steak, Lobster, and shrimp....We caught them on an especially nice night and ate outside...PlayaDeal Card discount was graciously subtracted... drinks, tax and a healthy tip was 50 USD. Our ONE expensive meal for the week.

VERY nice meal. Everything tasted great to us.

SUR used to be amazing... now that it's SUR "The New Concept" - it was very disappointing.

Asparagus had a great flank steak...

Meat Eaters

All the meat dishes as well as the empanadas at Tango Taco are reasonably priced and great eating and have a non-americano flare. I have eaten there many times and never had a bad meal or poor service.

We've eaten at Capitan Bob & Son's three years now, the last time being April 18th. I had surf & turf, (filet mignon and a lobster tail) the filet was excellant and the losbter melted in my mouth. BTW, we found out the the restuarant was sold about a week prior, but the food is still as good.
