4th of July
We are heading back down on July 3rd. I was just wondering what is Playa like on the 4th? Is it business as usual or are there a lot of Independence Day celebrations by the gringos? Also is this a slow week for Playa?
I have never spent this day outside of the US. I almost feel un-patriotic. Oh well... |

Not sure what Playa is like but you're going to miss a great concert in Philly. Elton John and fireworks on the River!!!! |

I'll have to miss it this year. Damn, maybe I'll cancel my trip to Playa. ![]() You're right, Philly is the place to be on the 4th. Too many people for me though. That is one of the reasons why I try to head down the shore that week. lol I like the concerts on Memorial Day Weekend at Penn's Landing as well. |

Yep, the gringos celebrate.
This question gets asked every year. Here's one former related post that ended up going way off topic.

Read the part about the bars closing for a couple days due to elections. I don't like that at all--is this year the same anyone know? Just curious. I'm not that worried about it being I'll have my kids with me, but it would be nice to know so we don't venture out without the kids when nothings open, ya know!

If I remember correctly the elections fell around the same time as the Super Bowl this year. No Beer for the Super Bowl???? Marlton, eh? I'm up the road from you, in Delran. |

Dane and his friends are homophillic, not phobic. I didn't end up having a party... might have had something to do with Anna being 7 months pregnant, though I'm not sure.
