We have always flown on a charter package & used the included transfers. Overall we've been pretty lucky & have had minimal stops or delays. Our last few trips to that area have been 45-50 minutes...UNTIL this past trip in February. They loaded up the van & we had 4 stops prior to the ASP. One in Playacar to the RUI complex which is really slow winding through the streets & all the topes (speedbumps). After that experience I've decided that next time we'll spend the extra $$'s for our own private transfer. I'm just not really willing to lose and extra hour & a half.

Don't be so sure. We've used Chaza several times & they do stop at various places along the way. Even stopping at the Moon Palace can take quite a bit of time. The drive in from the highway is really long w/ lot's of speedbumps. Chances are that they should get you there within an hour--but there are no guarantees. FYI...make SURE that you use the bathroom before you leave the airport & watch the cerveza consumption! That can be a long & uncomfortabe trip!

Living 5 minutes from there, and making frequent airport runs, I can tell you to count on at least as hour, with no stops. If there are any problems on the highway, or a lot of traffic, it can add to that, of course.

an hour is safe to believe.... We used chaza and stopped at ASP before xpu ha... then, we transfered back to ASP that night..... The ride was okay since you can see the lay of the land so to speak. sit up front and ask what ever pops into your head..... They love to talk.... most of them... just need someone to ask.
