Honestly, I wouldn't say that The Palace is highbrow. Is it rowdy - no. Is it kid focused - no. Does it offer a touch of class - yes. Your kids will have a good time if they don't need to be entertained 24/7. There are always options available such as activities at the Riu Tequila or Riu Playacar, where your younger one might want to spend a couple of hours every now and again. As long as your kids don't run amok, everyone will enjoy their stay at The Palace.

As Jobob said, long pants and collared shirt are all that is required for men at dinner. There is no dress code for women.
