Riu Yucatan Rooms
Hi Playa visitors!
My fiancée and I are going to Riu Yucatan in November this year and we would like get some help to tell us about the locations of the rooms. We heard block 4 and 5 are good, and that 7-9 are bad. What about 1-3? We´d love to have some advise if you´ve stayed at the Riu Yucatan: If there´s anything else we need to know, please tell us! Thank you so much, Erica and John |

We stayed at the Riu Tequila in January of this year and were able to use the beach and bars at the Yucatan. Every day there were monkeys in the trees between building 5 and the pool--very cool--but they were very close to the corner room on the top floor. Don't know if they make a home on the resort, but they were always there when we walked by. |

We liked block 3....
When we stayed there in April 2004. It was a nice halfway point between the lobby and the beach, plus the monkey's always seemed to be nearby! Nothing like waking up in the morning to the call of the wild! lol. Truly I think anything in that front area would be good. Can't wait to hear what the resort looks like with the renovations they are doing! We did like block 3 because of it's location... never found the walk a bother, and didn't have to worry about noise either. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me!

Thank you
Thank you so much everyone!
Closeness to beach is always nice, and with your help we now know what to ask for, thanks again, and the map was very helpful Ali! Erica and John Quote:
