Sundowner - questions
Hi -
Logged on last night and saw your pics - great ones! I have a few questions: What room/side were you in? What restaurants do you like best/least? How was the food this time around? Weather? Did you meet anyone who golfed in Puerto Aventuras OR Playacar? We are trying to find out how those courses are. I know the one in PA is only 9 holes which is fine with me! That is about it - thanks! |

Hey Beth! I just got back from ASP on Saturday. Talked to a few golfers, as I golf myself. The green fees are insane for Playacr and the Moon Palace courses, $175 and $225 respectively. Pretty sure the fees for the Aventura course is $70 ( 2 rounds of 9)
We stayed in Bldg. 0, 3rd floor, Aventura side. Great view of the pool, and ocean. Food I will address in my trip report (hopefully today )

Beth....twilight anywhere else would be great! I was sitting at the Lobby bar around 2 one afternoon, and saw 2 golfers coming down with their bags to head out for twilight golf at Playacar. By the time they got to the lobby from their rooms they were drenched in sweat. Thats not my idea of a relaxing round. I golfed in Puerto Vallarta a couple years ago and it was bearable.....this would have been rough. Also note...I'm used to fairly warm weather being from SoCal. |
