I just finished searching and reading past threads on Collectivos. Let me make sure I have the information correct:

Collectivos from the airport......BAD (very expensive...p.s. loved Michael's trip report comments)

Collectivos up and down highway 307.....GOOD (cheap transportation)

Just couple of quick questions-
Are there any distinguishing markings on the vans so that you know
they are collectivos or are there several different vans
services/companies that fulfill this service?

Do the drivers speak English or should I be prepared to speak
Spanglish? (Mapchick you crack me up!)

Is it better to use Pesos than USD when using them.
