Oh no, beads!

Our flight is Monday at 10:50 on a charter. Gotta love the charters cuz they are non-stop.

As bad as I will be Jonesing, I dont think I could handle a layover.

Baste me and flip me every hour till the Peep meet!

If you PM Karen (Nerak) - you might get them pretty quick, she's EXTREMELY organized (she's my role model) and pops them in the mail right away. I got ours in just a few days, so I'm sure you'd get them before we leave on Tuesday.

Frontier is direct, too, thank God - couldn't deal with a layover either! But Sue has an adventure - she gets to land in Cozumel and ferry over - she's so cool.

Where are you guys staying?

We're at Xaman Ha condos near the ferry pier. Booked Fatcat on Wed and want to go spend a day on Coz at some point during the week.

I'll make sure to stop by the TB a couple of times prior to the 18th to 'test' the beer to make sure we'll be OK for the Meet.

Thanks for the sacrificing, we ALL appreciate it.... We have Fat Cat on Thursday to avoid boating with a hangover (much of one anyway!).

I was thinking of Fat Cat also but am torn between that, deep sea fishing or a trip to Isla Contoy. Right now Contoy is in the lead if I can find something smaller than a Columbus replica ship to take us there. My biggest fear is not getting out of Dallas;once past that I'm ok. Looking forward to a cold few on the ferry.

We looked at Xaman Ha also but went to north PDC instead. Found an owner here in Denver to rent from. Xaman Ha looked beautiful but I want a long beach to walk on...hope I get it.

What we liked about Fatcat was that you don't give up the whole day for the outing. We've done stuff in the past where you get picked up WAY too early and dont get back until supper time. Fatcat is just 9:00 to 3:00.

suzeq, did you find something up north right on the beach? Everything I looked at seemed to be a block or 2 off if it was a condo, and we really wanted to be right on the water. We're hoping we can walk south from Xaman Ha, but it sounds like there are some spots where beach erosion has taken it's toll lately in that area.

I heard the same thing about the erosion which is why we didn't go there. The condo we got is 1/2 block from the beach..no water view

but close to Zubul and the beach walking is supposed to be great. The gardeners will carry our chairs down for us if we need them. I may need to get an umbrella once there. I had heard so many nice things about the north area that we decided to give it a try. Usually we stay in Playacar or Tankah. The Contoy thing is all day but I love the boat if it's a normal boat and not a Columbus ship. Just can't see myself on the Columbus ship.

This is a bump of this thread - I have shirked my thread-sitting duties but want to remind everyone that there's a passle of peeps meeting on June 18 at TB around 8:00 PM.

Wear your beads (thank you KAREN!!!) and if you don't have them, look for the people wearing them and pop on over! Looks like there'll be lots of us there and it'll be fun to meet everyone face to face (or something like that). A somewhat accurate list of people attending is further up on this thread..... Add your name! And see you there
