Apprentice Winner
Ok, so I do watch a lot of reality shows...the Amazing Race and Survivor are my favorites...but I have been watching the Apprentice too.
Who does everyone think is going to win? Street Smarts Tana or Book Smarts Kendra? My vote is for Tana. The Street Smart teams won almost all the challenges until they shuffeled them with the Book Smarts. Street Smarts have had the advantage. Tana is really good. Glad to see Trump is hiring a woman this time too. Someone to be buddies with Carolyn! teeheehee ![]() |

I am canadian and I vote for Tana. I think she is a great business woman, that she can combine being a nice person with being a business woman and still see results. I think Kendra is very smart but I think she is way to you and to immature to be a part of trumps orginization.

I think either could work for Trump. Both are inexperienced in big business which may be a plus for a man who has an extensive history in bankruptcies.
It's all such a joke....but I suppose it makes for "good" television. |

I agree that Tana has done a good job, but I think that Trump might lean toward Kendra. He appreciates a good education and I get the impression he thinks that Tana is a little too rough around the edges. I think he would like someone he could mold and who would be able to live and work in his world. Some of the comments he has made about Tana make me wonder if he appreciates her talents.

Even though, for the most part, I still enjoy this show; it pains me to see what a obvious advertising wet dream this show has become for corporate America. It's disgusting that each and every episode is "sponsored" by a specific company - not only do we have to be advertised to during the show, they buy add space to fill up the commercials too! It wasn't like this in the 1st edition of the show. The show is also so contrived. Donald has the power to fire whomever he (and the producers) chooses. Thus making the show not to be a true test of entrepreuniral saavy.
Also, Donald has been criticised for hiring 2 Male Apprentices so far. So, what happens - two female finalists. He's got two sides (street smarts and book smarts) and guess what? Each side is represented in the final. Who saw this coming????? Come on! |

Tana just seems to have a level head on her shoulders and really gets the job done. I hope Trump looks past her lack of education. We will see soon. Last edited by Rubio~ : 05-12-2005 at 09:11 PM. |

After watching tonight's show I am worried that Tana may not win.
I really feel Tana had a tougher task to complete. She had the Governor, celebrities, Olympic atheletes and a lot more on the line with her event than Kendra did...I mean Tana's event was supposed to show that NYC could hold the Olympics in 2012. Wow...what a challenge. Plus she had to print brochures (huge screw up there ), coordinate the timing of everything, and most importantly make sure the Governor and atheletes were comfortable. The only thing I can say in her defense was that she did not crack under pressure...she maintained her composure. Now on the other hand, she treated her team terribly. She showed them no respect whatsoever. She had a lot of ego leaving that event...not wanting to leave the same time they did...pretty condesending. And no American flag for the Governor...not good. Now on the other hand, Kendra's task was much more easy to pull off. It appeared early on that she would not be able to please the clients. But she did. I mean all she had to do was set up video games, hang posters, have a rapper as host, and invite a bunch of teenagers/adults who like to play games with a chance to win a Best Buy $5,000.00 check. Who wouldn't show up She handled her team with much more respect. Had more control over them and they worked better together. After the boardroom, I felt Tana represented herself with a ton of confidence...Kendra kept talking about her education...both made mistakes...both handled things differently...both are powerful women and I think Trump really has his work cut out for him in choosing one. Seeing the teams walk in had to be a little unnerving for Tana because she knows there was no love between them. They could really end any chance she has of winning. While I am sure Kendra's team will have nothing but praises for how she handled the task. I can't wait til next week to see how all this turns out. I am still routing for Tana...just think Kendra may have shown she is more of a competitor than I thought she would be on this final task. |

I really think that Kendra deserves to win after watching last night's episode. In two of her previous wins as project manager she did everything herself. This included one task where Tana did nothing and went to bed. I thought that Tana was just awful in the way that she handled people in general during her task last night. The way that she talked to the governor's handler was embarassing. She also passed the blame way too much onto her team members and we know that Trump hates when you do that as PM. I think that Kendra needs to grow a bit but she is a smart person and I think she really proved herself last night.
