Snow Pics....in May no less...
I've had to wipe snow off trees and shrubs in early June...but its been quite awhile...the cherry tree....shrubs, apple trees...BIG tree out front...ALL have a good amount of crushing snow on them...so a few pics and I'm off to wipe snow off the branches before they break...for the first of many times tonight I'm sure...

I'd like to oblige you Jesus, If I had ANY control over that sort of thing...
I was just outside again and heard tree limbs from across the street bending under the strain.... Last edited by cuffedlinks; 05-12-2005 at 01:13 AM.. |

Beautiful photos! We lost many of our trees in an ice storm we had in NE PA in January - no power for 7 days! It looks like a bomb dropped in the area and they say that with the severe amount of damage to the trees from all of the branches breaking off it will take around 20 yrs for the area to be as it was before the storm. I know why you are concerned about the weight of the snow on the tree limbs. Sounds like gunshots when the branches break. It is amazing how something that looks so beautiful can cause such damage. Hope you get some sleep.
