A year!
Hey! I just realized! Today is exactly the one year anniversary of my arrival in my little home in Mexico! I guess I made it, huh?
A year later, this is still exactly where I want to be. I love Mexico - the people, the eccentricities, the food, the atmosphere, the diversity, the color, the ocean, THE SUN, where I live, my friends here... all of it! If I knew what it meant to lead a charmed life, I think I might be doing just that. No regrets; I couldn't be happier! And you know what? I have so many of you to thank for so much of this! Thanks for sharing it all with me to this point and I hope I'll get to know even more of you in the years to come. |

Gosh, has it really been a year already? Time sure flies when you're having fun, doesn't it?
I'm so envious of you, Susie. And so very glad that you are still happy with your decision... though I couldn't imagine why you wouldn't be. Thanks for deciding to hang around once you arrived in Mexico to share your adventures with all of us. It's been great to have the addition local knowledge... especially, your daily weather forecast.

Your story and your stories bring sustenance and continued confidence to those of us whose move is in the planning and waiting stage. Thanks Ron (and Kathy) |

No, Scott, you would be one of the eccenTRICS, hon. And you're only in Mexico part of the time, anyway. But hey, I love ya anyway, how's that?
Mmmm, sweet tater pie! But I'd settle for just sweet potatoes. Oh, and some Baked Tostitos. And some natural peanut butter. And some caffeine free Diet Mt. Dew. And, and, and... Okay, fine... I can live without all of that as long as I have this happy sunshine! (That was today's forecast, Denise) All of you that are dreaming... know that it's possible, but know that you really have to let go of life there (mostly) to enjoy life here to its fullest. Wishing you all the good turns it takes to get you here, too! |

Congrats Susie. It doesn't seem like a year has already passed.
I guess I wouldn't get busted muling some baked Tostitos. Can't guarantee they wouldn't get broken into a ga-zillion pieces. |
