Cool that you met Karen and Jake...as you know we stayed at Barcelo on our first trip and were frequent visitors to their site too....glad to hear they are now married

Sorry to hear about the ants...just for the record we stayed on the 3rd floor at Barcelo and had no ants...thanks goodness...I don't do well with creepy crawlers....yuck

Can't wait to read more.

Another must read report and a new standard for attention to details to share with the "cancun wannabe's" or maybe we are "Cancun Wishwecouldbe's", or better yet "Cancun Willbee's soonerorlater's". Our girls have been begging since we got back last spring to go "next time". Wife said she'd take them next time, my thought was "not"..... At age's 15 and 12 then, and now 16 & 13 last thing I want is to wonder where they are or who they are with if I'm not right there....lol They get the summer trips all over, that week is to get to "know" each other again between all the school and sport activities we go through each year for them. Glad jr. is old enough to be able to say "your over 18 you pay for it and go". Question I have is being Moderator shouldn't you get the ant free rooms? We passed on upper xpu ha room after seeing it and the musty smell and chance of bugs to moved to ASP.

I'm at work and still have time to read... that old newspaper just isn't getting the attention it used to..... nothing good in it anyways. Except ad for USA 3000 airline prices of $99 each way from Detroit to cancun..... Next March says $120 to Cancun and $140 from Cancun to Detroit, non stop..... tempting very tempting to book now. No refund tickets. Great departure on way down.... 6am and get into Cancun at 9:30am.... On the way back sucks 9am depart Cancun home by 12:30.
