I sometimes stop at the Westin in Cancun for lunch. It's one of the closest to the airport on the south side of the strip. The beach-side in CUN is nothing like Playa's, so I doubt you'd find any cozy little spots like Fusion there, although there are a few beach-side restaurants in the heart of the night-club area as well. Just expect very high prices in exchange for that view!
