Heading back in November

Have been away from the forum for quite a while. After vacationing in the Yucatan for four straight years, this year we (actually make that I - my hubby wanted to go to PDC again) decided to try something different. We went to Vieques this past March and while we enjoyed it very much (beaches are awesome) we missed 5th Avenue. So we have decided to use up the rest of our FF miles with US Air (before they become worthless ) and head down in November, this is new for us as we have only been to Mexico in March but after searching this forum for "weather in November" ( see I DID read the announcement ) it appears that it is a fine time to go. We are travelling with another couple and they have never been to Mexico so it should be fun showing them all of the sights. Our past two trips to PDC we stayed at La Tortuga (which we really liked) this trip we have decided to stay in the "newer" North part of town at the Villa Amanecer - we haven't heard too much about it but the little feedback I found on this forum and trip advisor seems positive. Friends of ours have been to Playa the past two Aprils and they said they couldn't believe the changes in that short of time - looking forward to seeing them in person.

This forum has tons of useful information and was very helpful in planning our last two trips. I am sure I will be posting some Q's as our arrival date gets closer - my DH says I am obsessed with travel forums but he never complains the all of the research I do and the info I gather makes our vacataions all that much better!. Just wanted to say it's good to be back!!
