Minnesota Peep Meet...who's in??? - Page 11

Hi MN Annie,
We keep a travel trailer at a resort on Kabby. It's kind of our cabin on the lake. Was up there last weekend with my 14 year old and two of his buddies. Sure went through a lot of gas pulling the boys around the lake. They had a blast.

Yes, Apple River can be pretty raunchy. I agree it is no place for children. I have been going there every year for about 20 years now so it's kind of a tradition- and I never bring my child. I think you may have misunderstood my post. I was simply stating that I was going to Apple River, that's why I couldn't make it to the get together at Sweeneys. I certainly didn't mean to upset anyone.

Just got back from Minneapolis today on work...had a great time-I was very impressed with how clean the town is. I hated the numbering system for the streets though (7th Ave and 7th Street). You Minnesotans should be proud, a very good place you have there! Just don't be picking on us Ioweagens!

Why thank you very much!! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Now - if you think Mpls. is bad for streets you should check out St. Paul...I remember a former gov. of ours saying something about some drunk irishmen must have numbered our streets...i.e. 400 N. Robert St....is between 6th and 7th street on Robert - hmmm...very curious in deed!
