Go to Iowa State-much better and closer to MN!!

Great to see the meet, looks like you guys had fun, I wish I could have made it, but duty called and I was working!

Cool

Great gathering... hope you all liked Sweeneys. Too bad the tables were bolted down (high demand item, I guess). A large circular table to fit our cozy group would have been preferred but I thought the courtyard and service was excellent. If we ever do a winter peep event, Rock Bottom Brewery in downtown Minneapolis would be a great choice. Bar height seating (which I prefer) and a layout where no one is ever on the fringe. Kind of similar to the perimeter seating at the Beer Bucket in PDC. Besides, I like gathering around a bar or similar where I can stay on my feet... not big on the sitting thing.

Exactly 2 years ago, I went to a Playa peep meet at Chevy's near Mall of America with 30+ individuals. Although it was fun, from a logistics standpoint it was a good example that more is not necessarily better.

Glad you got to sort of meet my daughter... she had dropped in to show me the clothes she picked out for her kind of boyfriend so they could attend a wedding. Love sending her as my representative!! Looks like she did pretty good as a fill-in photographer too.

Trust me... those are not stories. If anything, I may have under-reported or conveniently left out the stuff I can't remember.

Again, nice meeting all of you and hope it was as much fun for you as it was for me. Way better than going to a wedding!! If any of you got part of my tab, THANKS... can't recall ever having one that small.

Sorry we didn't stay longer...we will for sure next time! Rock Bottom sounds like a great place to meet!

I thought the amount was good - a few more would have been perfect!! When a group gets too large it's hard to have one conversation and I hate missing out on what everyone is saying!

It was nice to meet your daughter...she did a great job on the pictures. It sounds like she made it to her destination...

Hope to see you all again soon.

The rule is... if you're the first to leave, we get to talk about you after you've gone!

My daughter's destination was 2-part... after the wedding/reception they went to the cancelled Oz-Fest grounds and camped overnight and then did some Apple River tubing today. The promotors made it a free spiff and re-issued camping tickets for the raincheck date. Thought that was a pretty good deal!

Hmm...well I guess that's okay, since those of us who got there first talked about the rest of you until you got there

I didn't mean that you had made them up. I just thought they were super interesting...in fact if you had made any of them up I would really wonder about you.

Sigh! I'm always a day late or a dollar short. I wish we could have made it back in time. I have a feeling this will be an unusually hectic year for us with the oldest princess starting her senior year. Seems like there is always something that has an urgent deadline attached and I have little control over. We've been busy trying to tie up loose ends on college choices, whether she will play college soccer, in state or out of state, public or private. Maybe it seems so difficult because I know how much we will miss her. Loved the photo of everyone! Will definitely be interested in a winter get together.

Let's just make sure it is early winter or at least a weekend with no bad weather predicted. Next time, I may even get a hotel and stay the night as to extend the possibities of the gathering.

Ha! Just ask my kids about my "dedication"!!!

Got lots to do today. Trying to get the irrigation people out to repair damage from the landscapers, off to view and bring home senior picture proofs, grocery shop since we were out of town, laundry, etc!!! Gosh, I really dislike Mondays!!!!
