Pacifico and Estrella... now available in cans!

I have to admit these are both kinda boring tasting beers, but it's exciting to have a new package to look at, and choice is good, mostly.

Estrella (the lighter of the two, 4.0% alcohol) is a brand from the Jalisco area, which makes it the correct beer to accompany tequila. Pacifico (4.5%) is from Mazatlan in the state of Sinaloa.

Both beers are now part of the larger Grupo Modelo, which also makes Corona, Victoria, Negra Modelo and Montejo, among others.

Yummy!

My fav "mexican" restaurant has Pacifico (the restaurant is even called Pacifico) and I like it a lot! It's not canned, though. But I prefer bottles anyway.

All three (I picked up a pair of Pacificos, just in case one didn't photograph well) of my models have been emptied.
