Another repeat tonight. Just got the new HDTV installed on Monday...can hardly wait to see if it makes a difference for my old eyes! Matthew Fox was on GMA this morning. No secrets were told.

I sometimes feel about this show the way I felt about the X-Files, which I adored in the first few seasons. But as time went on, they just kept teasing about answering the fundamental questions on that show, and they kept introducing more outlandish storylines. Ultimately, that non-resolution became a big turnoff for me and I know for alot of fans. Hope that doesn't happen with Lost.

I rented all of the first season DVDs to catch up on this show (but am still behind the current season or missing episodes, etc.)

Anyway, the last disk has lots of extra material including interviews with the writers. They obsessed about making the island "a character" in itself.

They also said that the original story outline would take them through the first 5 years!!!

I thought it was neat to watch the pilot again last night to see how some of the cast has changed over the past year. Micheal, Walt (of course) and Gin have all changed a good bit to me. Funny though, Hurley still looks the same.

Read on another site that Walt has grown more than 4 inches between seasons. That's one reason we haven't seen too much on him.

They are also talking about writing Ana Lucia out of the show because of her DUI problems.

Yep....should be a good show tonight. I'll be glad when we can get 3 or 4 shows in a row again. These breaks are killing me.

I agree. I think next week is another rerun, and possibly the following too. I understand the need to stretch things out because of production, but I just wish they would hold back the new episodes until they have a string of 3-4 ready to show in a row. The breaks in continuity are a drag in such a detailed show. Oh well, I'll be looking for some good Sawyer moments anyway! :p

Arrgghh! Have lots of things to do tonight so will miss the show at regular time. Oldest has bball sectionals and youngest has AAU try outs. Will watch when I get home!

I also thought it was great. They finally revealed a little about what is happening on the island. The scenes with Ethan were really creepy. So, it looks like the man who was with Ethan in the "hospital" is the same man who 1) took Walt from the raft, and 2) Sawyer called Zeke when they encountered the Others while searching for Michael.

Who is he? And why are they using those raggedy clothes disguises?

And what WAS Eko up to? hmm...
